So as we have enjoyed the almost year of having Zephan many of you know we are now expanding our family and my belly! #2 is on the way and we find out tomorrow what this little one is! Hooray! We are hoping for a little girl to complete our family but would be just as happy and blessed to have another little boy. The names we are thinking of are Azalee Rose for a girl or Grayson Kenneth Clay for a boy.

There are so many milestones and new things that we have enjoyed watching Zephan overcome that we are very excited to share this joy with one more little blessing.

Zephan is all over the place now crawling, walking around all of our furniture, and jibber jabbering to anyone who will listen. He is unstoppbale, by the time I pick up one mess, he is off to make a new one. His favorite things are his basketball game from Auntie Kristin and Unlce Tony, frozen blueberries (as you can see in picture #2), Grandma Layna, and Playtown in El Cajon. His birthday is fast approaching, we will be celebrating on April 4th at 1pm, we sure hope you can make it!<

Anyone feel the pressure?

Is anyone else feeling the pressure of "OH MY GOSH CHRISTMAS IS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY"? So much to do and so little time, however we are enjoying this time beyond comprehension. It's so neat to see his reaction to all the Christmas stuff around us. Zephan experienced his first "Black Friday" shopping trip this year, although we were excited about the deals we got, he just wanted his bottle. We partially felt cruel for dragging him out of bed so early but we put him in the car seat and back to sleep he went!

Our little man is going to be 8 months in only 4 days! He is so much fun right now, rolling around everywhere, getting into everything, and trying SO hard to crawl. It's very funny but kind of sad when he get so frustrated because that toy is SO close...but not close enough. Yesterday I brought him to the salon with me to do a quick haircut for someone and before I knew it he was in the cat food bowl, and had shoved a few pieces in, GREAT, my kid is eating cat food! Before I know it he is going to be walking, he already is pulling himself up on things, the feeling is bittersweet!

His favorite thing to do is play piano, he has this little one that he pounds on, so the other day I put his sunglasses on him and sat him at the piano, we have our very own little Stevie Wonder folks! Gotta love it!

Zpehan is 7 Months Now!

Holy cow, my son was just born last week and is already 7 months old. Everyone always told me that time flies by before your eyes when you have children, but I have never been able to fathom the reality of what they were saying until I had Zephan. He is discovering new things, everyday I look over at him and realize he is doing something new. It starting with babbling to himself in his crib, trying to reach his toes, and now he is sitting up, pulling his shoes and socks off himself, grabbing toys & making them work all by himself, rolling all over the place and trying to learn to crawl, eating solid foods, and working on those teeth coming in.

Now I know why everyone always wants more children. That feeling you get deep in your heart when they look you straight in the eyes and smile is like none other. His smile can bring me out of the worst of moods, and really makes me appreciate the little things in life. It's amazing how a little being that doesn't even talk yet can speak to your heart so quickly. SO, SO, SO Blessed to be Zephan's Mommy and Dayton's wife!

I love how they take the normal holidays that we have grown accustomed to and make them even better again!

Our Son is 6 months now! YIKES!!

Wow, how times flies! Everyone has always told me they grow up so fast, but it never really sets in until you have one of your own. He rolls over like a rollie pollie now, he is eating baby food and loving it, he is learning to sit up on his own...my gosh at this rate he will be walking soon! It's really crazy!

We have been going through a really rough patch with him lately, I am pretty sure he is teething...that or demons have taken over our son! Teething is seriously so hard to deal with. I feel bad for the little man but at the same time I feel like I am going to go insane with the fussyness and the screaming. Still though, being a Mom is the greatest thing in the world when he looks up at me and smiles, it wipes all that away! Still not sure if Iam ready or willing for another one though!

Wow, Zephan is almost 5 months old

Wow, our once little guys is growing up so fast. He will be 5 months old very shortly. We took him to his first Padre game last night with Grandpa Ken and had a lot of fun, yeah....Padres won! He is changing more and more everyday. He is talking up a storm and I just love to hear his little voice. He has really figured out his bouncy seat and all the toys connected to it, I just looked over and saw him moving his little hand back and forth over the spinning thing to make it roll. It is just crazy to me how quickly they figure these things out. Being parents has been the greatest blessing...and the worst curse why? because our kid is so darn cute we find it very hard to get anything done!

Zephan is HUGE!!!

So our son is getting crazy huge and is cute as ever. He is loving his little bouncy seat now, and is starting to talk our ears off. It's really cute to hear his little voice coo and scream at you. It is still very surprising to him to hear his voice, whenever it gets too loud, he startles himself. It's pretty cool! Oh and he LOVES the water. My Mom and sister took him swimming at his great Grandma's house and he loved it!

The feeling as a Mom when they look straight at you and smile makes every pound I can't lose worth it! He is an amazing little man who stole my heart the second I knew he was growing inside me. We are the happiest parents in the whole dang universe and could not ask for anything more.

We got great news...we're moving out!! YEAH! Finally we will have our own place...but, it's gonna be a lot of work! It's an apartment that my Mom owns and it needs quite a bit of renovating. WE are just the people to do it though and are actually looking forward to it.
